Learner reflections

This chapter presents qualitative analysis of SHL learners’ written reflections of their community service-learning experiences. This chapter analyzes recurring themes and evidence of conscientização (Paulo Freire) related to social issues within the community, language, identity, community connections, and personal growth and transformation.
