Making connections and building identities I

Learner surveys

This chapter presents the quantitative analysis of survey data collected from SHL learners from seven semesters over a five-year period of a university SHL course with CSL. The analysis includes SHL learner profiles, learner perceptions of the impact of CSL on their connections to their HL communities, identities, language attitudes, and awareness of social, political, and cultural issues in the community.
